DownloadBethel Church began as a Bible Study in the home of Bob and Vickie Rogers. It began with a video Bible Study from Focus on the Family, called: “The Truth Project.” The Bible Study always included a robust time of discussion about what we had just learned followed by a praise report time for prayers answered and blessings received followed by a time of intercessory prayer.
Since The Truth Project, we have had other video studies such as Revelation with Perry Stone, The Feasts of the Lord with Mark Biltz of El Shaddai Ministries, and Finances in the Biblical Community with Norm Franz. Several of these studies include Hebraic insights into Scripture. Bob Rogers also did many lessons right from Scripture.
As time progressed we had more people and prayers were fervent and were answered. Then there were people who were anointed and prayed over. People were healed of stomach issues, lumps in breasts were gone, people on canes quit using them, and kidney stone problems came to an end.
At a cook out at Mary Lipginski’s Farm we prayed over her Rocky Mountain stallion, named Black Jack, with neck problems diagnosed by x-ray. He could hardly walk and he was to be put down, but, we prayed for him and anointed him with oil. Black Jack was healed, can carry a big rider, and is now in the breeding program at her farm. A short time ago Black Jack was sold and underwent a thorough Vet Exam and X rays. They showed nothing at all in his neck and back.
Some people began to say that our Bible Study had a Portal to Heaven.
We soon discovered there were Portals to Heaven where so many prayers had been offered up that the presence of The Holy Spirit could be physically felt.
One of those places was the cross ties at Mary Lipginski’s farm where we prayed for her stallion, Black Jack. We found them at Mary’s house by the kitchen cabinets and in her bedroom. We found them at Bob and Vickie’s house. We found them at the alters of churches. These portals have been places of prayer for so long that the physical presence of Yahweh our Elohim could be felt.
In Genesis 28: 11-22, we found insight in the account of Jacob running away from home. Jacob dreamed he saw a stairway (portal) into heaven with the Lord at the top and angels going both up and down. The angles were taking prayers up and bringing answers back down. The angles were taking tithes up and blessings down. This was a Portal to Heaven. He named that place Bethel. Because the Rogers household and Bible Study had become a Portal to Heaven with so many answered prayers, Bethel was the logical name for the church about to begin in Bob and Vickie’s house. We still meet in their house and will until the time is right to move.
Church is so much more than a service on the weekend. It’s about connecting with other people, growing in your faith, and building a strong foundation for your family.
In a church our size, it’s easy to get to know everyone. Because of that, we’re a church of small groups. We have small group for men and women with group leaders and members who are waiting to get to know you!
Our desire is to help each person at Bethel believe in Jesus, belong to family, become a follower, and build God's kingdom.
We want every person to have a chance to experience what God has for them—whether it’s through serving or getting plugged into one of our groups.
Sundays are Special. We welcome everyone.
We love people, so feel free to visit during our services.
