God's Simple Plan of Salvation

The Big ?

Friends: We are asking you the most important question of life. Your joy or your sorrow for all eternity depends upon your answer.

The question is: If you stood before God and He asked you, "Why He should let you into His heaven, What would you say?"

Would you say?

I am a good person.

I never murdered anyone.

I am a member of First _____ Church.

Friends, did you know the Scripture says "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God?"

Did you know it also says, "The wages of sin is death?"

Have you ever told a lie?

Have you ever stolen anything, a pencil, a book, a coke?

That is called sin. But God loved you so much He gave His only begotten Son, Jesus, to bear your sin and die in your place. He has made Him [Jesus] to be sin for us...that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him." Jesus had to shed His blood and die for us.

God commended His love toward us, in that , while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us Romans 5:8.

But as many as received Him, [Jesus] to them He gave power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His name. John 1:12.

Believe in Jesus, Call on Him to save you today. Let us know.

John 5:24 (KJV)
24  Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and  believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into  condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.

John 3:16 (KJV)
16  For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son,  that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting  life.

John 3:36 (KJV)
36  He that  believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son  shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.

Person of Interest

You!

We’re all about people because God is all about people. One of the ways we express our love for Him is through our love for people, and we do that by helping each person who comes to Bethel grow in their relationship with Jesus.

It begins with our desire to see people saved, healed, set free, discipled, equipped, empowered, and serving. It all starts with our Sunday services. We meet in Pastor Bob and Vickie's home at 2584 Elk Creek Road in Taylorsville, Kentucky, and you can even join us on Facebook live if you aren’t in the area.

Hebrews 10:25 NLT

(25)  And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage one another, especially now that the day of His return is drawing near.

The Lord's Supper

Joining in the Fellowship

The Lord's Supper

The Lord's Supper is meant to commemorate the death of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ for sin until His second coming (1 Cor. 11:23-26). It is also a time of heart searching and renewal of fellowship with Christ and His saints (1 Cor. 11:27-32).

Baptism

The Lord's Supper

Baptism by immersion is an act of obedience by the believer who wishes to identify himself with the death, burial, and resurrection of Christ (Matt. 28:18-20; Rom. 6:4). This act of obedience follows conversion (Acts 8:12, 26-39) and is a prerequisite for local church membership (Acts 2:41). An outward expression of what is in the heart.
